Infernal Death's eigth single would be their first release from their third full record, Something Wicked This Way Comes. Terror is the second single that had both songs written by Dean.
Dean wrote both the “A” and “B” sides of the single.
Both tracks were recorded in Toronto at Gunsmoke! Records.
Terror was produced by Gareth Cutting. It's the only track they worked with him on so far. Danny produced the “B” side.
Further information on the songs can be found on the album page for Something Wicked This Way Comes.
The band turned to another new graphic designer for the cover of this single. Emelie Flamlind produced three versions the band could choose from.
“I liked the eye cover the best,” Danny commented at the time, “as it's a much more subtle approach to the terror the song is about. In Dean's track, he doesn't describe what is causing the terror, just the feeling of terror, and the cover of the eye allows the fan and viewer to decide for themselves what is causing the fear and terror. The other two were excellent work as well, so we used them in limited release as alternate covers.”
As such, those limited covers are worth a decent penny in private and public auctions when they come up.
