Hide & Seek / Run For Your Life is Vanessa Adams 9th solo single, and fourth single off of her album P l a y. The single was confirmed by Vanessa Adams on her blog, like previous singles had been. The single is a double a-sided single, with both tracks having their own promotional video.

Due to a miscalculation, copies that were ordered for the single did not arrive in time to be put on shelves for it's first week of release. This is what brought upon the decision to release the limited edition single hands during the same week that this single was released.
