These are the lessons you learn in the School of Popmundo:
Crimes have a statute of limitations of two years.
Arrest warrants are withdrawn only after limitations for all crimes of this type have expired.
This means warrants may remain for much longer than two years as long as the criminal has been witnessed committing new crimes of the same type.
Beware of pickpockets. Walking around with valuable items makes you a potential target for thieves.
Criminals get stopped by security more often than honest, law abiding citizens.
Make sure you have the skills required to learn something new before you spend your hard earned cash on a new book. A complete list of skills and their prerequisite can be found in the rules.
If you're sick please do not interact with more people than you absolutely have to. And if you're going to sneeze do not face the computer screen spreading your germs all over Popomundo.
There is no link to click if you wish to quit the game. Just stop playing and your characters will pass away three months after your last login. Should you log in after those three months have passed, you will be offered a new character.
You cannot give money back to the band.
Delays are a part of the Popomundo reality and should be taken into consideration at all times. You should always leave a couple of hours between important events in your schedule to be on the safe side.
Bad weather, security checks, banana peels, temporary server overloads, and other natural phenomena in a world such as this are all things you should plan for.
Playing more than once a year in a city will not give you additional fame.
Jamming songs without first giving it a genre in your repertoire as well as jamming songs from genres the band don't have any skills in is a waste of time.
You might be sick, pregnant, underage, male, or just having a bad week. There's tons of reasons why you might not ovulate on time in Popomundo. Having children is a really long term commitment. No need to rush things.
Children get their experience points randomly distributed over 16 Popomundo years. Don't worry if they're stuck crawling on the floor without any points for a long time… They'll be up and running before you know it. In the end they all get the same amount of points.
Practice safe sex! Unwanted pregnancies and painfull diseases have ruined many world tours.
Don't drink and drive. Seriously.
Cancelling a show might hurt your fame momentarily but it's much worse to fail a show.
Your character is always responsible for its actions.
Just because it's possible for you to do something in Popomundo doesn't always mean it's a good idea. You should always consider the consequences of your actions.
