History of the Quests

The summary of events has been compiled by Eileen Thompson, Pauline Costabile and Theo Powell.

If you got more information (especially time stamps), then feel free to add them here! It'd be also interesting to add threadIDs to the individual events, so people can read up on what happened and what got discussed themselves. Do you know the history of the Australia, Buenos Aires and Helsinki Paths?

• Xavier Angel Garcés de Marcilla steals Kobe Tai's Spanish inquisition hat
• Xavier uses the hat to teleport to Area 51
• Xavier gets shot by Conrad Gardener's laser gun
• Xavier gets healed and teleported out by Kobe Tai, but she takes her inquisition hat back, which she drops at the Nashville police station later.

• Nick Clarke finds the first 'gate': the statue in Fallout Park in Nashville. He enters it and reaches the Little House on the Prairie. He's followed by 6-year-old Rhiannon Atkinson.
• Jimmy Rodhult finds the second gate, the one in Tromsø. He goes in and ends up in Hell which is a cheap hotel. He then moves to Little house on the Prairie (which isn't possible anymore) and finds Nick & Rhiannon. He milks the cows and gains the first bottles of milk and finds the pathway that leads to Brokeback Hills.
• Meanwhile Sherry Ingram was on the Highway to Hell as well, but took the wooden gate on there (which Jimmy didn't take). Eventually she gets to hell too, and she finds Pandora's Box!
  • Sherry decides to open Pandora's Box. It has 3 uses. “Ahhhhh.. what have I done?!?!” appears 3 times in her diary.
  • Sherry claims she received a shield and a sword and a divine mission to kill someone, though the items don't show up in her items list.
  • Sherry gets out of hell and goes stealthy and quiet about her mission.
  • Next we hear from her she's getting abducted by Fernando Vidal from the Spanish Inquisition. The weapons are taken from her.
  • It is unknown where Sherry was at that point and how far along her quest she was. But it is known that she has had the bubonic plague, typhus & cholera since opening Pandora's Box.

• A third new travel route gets discovered by Lawana Beckwith on the London - Glasgow travel route. It leads to Stonehenge, where Lawana learns a new skill called 'Ancient History'.
• There's also a pathway that leads to Glastonburry, but it looks like there's nothing special in there.
• Meanwhile, Ramon Dalenberg finds a strange map in the Amsterdam University, which needs Ancient History to be read.
• Also, a crow pops up in Berlin. It's a pet which is currently in possession of an anonymous player.

• After a while, a fourth pathway is found. It's on the Istanbul - Dubrovnik travel route and leads to Selimiye Camii, a mosque with a mosaic floor, two fountains and two gates. One of which can't be used yet.
• In the same timeframe a paper with the phone number of a Dutch psychic is handed out to several people in Glastonburry.
• The psychic has been phoned by Wes Toland and he got an appointment but he didn't understand a word the lady said and then she even fainted! Nothing much was revealed.

• Antonio Quintero has found some Memoirs in a second hand store.

• Lee Murray discovers another pathway in Los Angeles Bus Station in Los Angeles. But everytime someone else wanted to use it, it kept saying “There is at least one item you don't have with you in order to make this work. What could it be?”. Nobody, even Lee himself had no clue what's the right item.
• Finally, Sirpa Virjonen found out that the missing item were flowers. She entered the pathway and it lead her to Interstate 5 and there she takes the West pathways which leads to Haight-Ashbury Street Fair which is a second-hand store and is located in San Francisco.
  • Sirpa finds black sunglasses there and uses them to enter the Hotel California and then 'she' showed me the way. They said she can check out any time I like but apparently she cannot leave. She also said that there were Eagles as well. There was also a pathway(?) that led to Master's Chambers, Sam's House but there was nothing interesting there.
  • The items found in Hotel California were: pink buffet, several knifes and 6 inspirational seeds. Sirpa used the pink buffet, but it said that it wanted to give her a skill that she already had. Then she used all the seeds to write a new song “Hotel California” but nothing special happened.
  • After that, she was suddenly thrown out of the hotel and appeared in Haight-Ashbury Street Fair again, and her diary said: “Was I dreaming!? I am back in Haight-Ashbury Street Fair. Or have I been here all the time?” and the black sunglasses she had vanished. Nobody could enter the Hotel California since then.
  • She also couldn't buy anything in Haight-Ashbury Street Fair, there was nothing on sale.

• When Rhonda Nuttall arrives at Haight-Ashbury Street Fair, a dev-controlled guy appeares and the second hand store is suddenly full of weird objects, among those items there were also a door key and a box, Rhonda bought them, but then the items dissappeared.
  • She was then ushered out of the store by hippies and told her not to come back until she had changed her materialist ways. She was told by a hippie: 'Hey, materialism destroys the planet. Possessions brings no happiness! So don't be such a greedy sod!'

• Ramon Dalenberg skills up in Ancient History and uses the map, and it leads him to Salona Temple of Apollo - a temple. He prays there, but nothing happens. Edit: He actually finds 2 codex of ancient knowlegde, they require 3* linguistics and 3* ancient history to be used, and if used one gains “Classical Languages skill.

• Hjordis Grande goes to the psychic's house and she told her 'Thy father was a gambling man but he knew what was needed.'

• Later, Alonso Fernando Moreno Inse uses the violet paper(paper with a telephone number) and gets these messages in his diary: “Where the Old King rose to power and the Young King reigned, the late King rests near the pyramid.” and “Find the Older King's Lady, and she will guide you!”
  • Jonathon Mangan suggests that the Old King the psychic was talking about might be B. B. King and his lady is his guitar named Lucille.
• After a while, a guitar named Lucille is found at the Haight-Ashbury Street Fair, Terry Hinson buys the guitar and passes it to Lawana Beckwith.
  • Lawana tries to play the guitar but it keeps saying that she's in the wrong city/place, but when Lawana goes to Nashville and tries to play it in a club named Bada Bing!, and then the guitar says that there's no enough of audience.
  • She tried to play the guitar on several gigs, one of them was full and had 10000 audience, but the guitar wasn't satisfied.
  • It was then suggested that there have to be real players listening there. 33 people gathered to listen to Lucille, and finally, Lawana was able to play it. “Suddenly someone picked up a electric guitar and started playing in a GOD SMACKINGLY GLORIOUS way.” Lawana gets 9* in Electric Guitar as a reward.
  • Right after she played it, a loud rumbling sound of rocks grinding against rocks filled the room and everyone who were there got this message: “A wall just collapsed in Bada Bing *REVOLUTIONARY*! Wait…! There is something beyond it…”
  • A wall appears and it leads to 16th Avenue Grill South, there are 3 Basic String Instruments books and 3 Electric Guitar books, Grimbert Peifer and Sami Petajalahti pick them up, but there's nothing unusual about them. There are also two pathways, east one leads back to the club, and the other one(south) leads to Highway 61, a travel route.
  • There are also two pathways in Highway 61, one is Ingalls pathway which leads all way back to Little House on the Praire, and the south pathway doesn't have a use option.

• Meanwhile, Danielle Jelleyman discovers another Wall in Glasgow University in Glasgow (obviously). She tried to use it, but it kept saying: “Something else has to be done first, before you can use this item…”
  • It was suggested to eat meat, Danielle did so and got this message in her diary: “Rrrraaargh! MEAT!” and was able to use the wall.
  • The wall leads her to Teacher's House, where she finds two inspirational seeds and picks them up. There's also a Cabinet, and when you click on it you get school boy uniforms pants and a jacket.

• Grimbert Peifer goes to Selimiye Camii mosque in a school boy uniform, and notices that there's a new fifth action available “Repent mortal sins” apart from the regular 4 that we get in normal temples. When he did it, it said: “A surge of light cleansed me of all my sins and evil foolishness”, but other than that nothing special happened. Yet.

• Word of two people (Cem Gökalsın and Ben Uçakkaldıran) getting into Hotel California from Los Angeles again is spreading (ThreadID:381003.279) (38.23)
• They got a lot of pink items, but they weren't able to leave Hotel California.
• They reveal the way, how they got there to Lawana Beckwith and she goes to meet them. Stanton Mark also joins them.
• All but Cem got removed from Hotel California without any hint how it happened. (38.27)
• Lawana Beckwith joins Cem again, to help him get out.
