Pablo Buijing is one of the two founding members of the Perfects, formerly known as “The Doctors of Gonzo Journalism”. In the beginning of his musical career, Pablo was known for his ego-boosting songs, such as “Kiss me, I'm Beautiful” and “Pablo will save us all”. It seems that after the birth of his and Odriana Hallebeek's daughter, Skye Buijing, he started writing more serious lyrics.
When Pablo started becoming political active and campaigning against dictator Melvin Stjärnblom, he got in a fight with bandmember Jackie Sprackling, and Sprackling left the band. After the death of Melvin, Pablo was elected mayor of Amsterdam, after a tough campaign with competition from Filip Hermar and Paulus de Beer.
Pablo and the other bandmembers of the Perfects became very succesful and famous, but they all felt the need to do other projects. During a tour together with Sprackling's new band Disillusion, Sprackling and Buijing made up and started thinking about a new project. After the Perfects disbanded, Buijing and Sprackling started their project under the name of the Jackie & Pablo Experience, a progressive rock band that stormed the charts as soon as they started touring.
The Jackie & Pablo Experience was very succesful, stormed the charts and was actually the first band to reach a GOD SMACKINGLY GLORIOUS show without playing any covers (Crystal Inglis was the very first to reach this rating, but she did it by playing the most popular songs from that moment, not written by herself), but the band did not last long, not in this form. The old Perfects and a friend of them, Alvarado Guiterrez, decided to reform the Jackie & Pablo Experience into Miss Perfect & her Revolution.
Miss Perfect and her Revolution was a rock band in which the ex-Perfects finally reached what they'd aimed for so long: the #1 spot on the Who's Winning Chart. The band did not last long: once again the group of friends got bored with their project and decided to split up. Joe Pinkney and Alvarado Guiterrez did go on for a while under that name, but got very bad reviews.
Pablo then decided to do a solo world tour and release a solo album under the name 'Pablo Buijing: Flashbacks from Outerspace'. The record featured new versions of his biggest hits. A lot of other artists feature on this album. After this he decided to take a break from touring and disappeared from the stage for a few years. In this break Pablo took singing classes and once again teamed up with his old Perfects friend Jay Bacon to write a new repertoire. Jay and Pablo decided to start touring with this new repertoire under the name Venus and Mars.
Pablo has been in love with Odriana Hallebeek from the start of his musical career, but they did have their problems within their relationship. Their relationship has always been an open one, but when Odriana's son Pablo Hallebeek appeared to be Jackie's, Pablo got very upset. According to many fans this is also the main reason for the fight between Jackie and Pablo which resulted in Jackie's departure from the Perfects. Pablo could live with this though, and they continued their relationship. When the Perfects were about to split up, Pablo and Odriana did press the “pause button” for a month. The “Perfect-Mania” was paying it's toll on the social lives of the bandmembers, and Pablo and Odriana needed some time alone. Shortly after the Perfects split up, they got back together but are touring around the world seperately.
