Marcel Kremers

Much of his childhood is a blur. All that is known is that his parents got divorced at an early age. Marcel never went to school, but received daily tutoring from his mother and was self educated in the rough streets of London. He appeared on the scene with ambitions to achieve big things, like many millions and although being much of an underground figure, has a good reputation especially in the Hip Hop community.

His progress from the streets has been well documented in the fans favourite “Ghetto Soldier to Ghetto Business Man” track he wrote in his mum's apartment. This later went on to be a huge classic hit released on the 5* album “Infamous Duo”, the latter selling 250,000 copies.

• Style & Legacy

He is known for his smooth flow, rapid fire London style delivery, multi-syllabic rhyme schemes, metaphors and wordplay. He is one of the few who have been able to challenge the late & great Robbie Donnelly, consistently displaying extraordinary lyricism.

• Infamous Crew

One of the affiliate groups to Gunsmoke, started by Marcel known as one of the great Hip Hop labels around, once boasting not only the Infamous Crew but the likes of Rapture and many other top acts.

• Post Infamous Crew

After Tomi passed away, Marcel carried on repping as a solo artist. This proved unsuccesful and disheartened with the music life, would then go AWOL for many years, even abandoning the company.

Recently, Marcel has announced the re-birth of the Infamous as a solo artist.
