Jon Burke
Personal History
Jon Burke was born in London England but moved to Porto Portugal with his mother after his parents divorce. He moved back in with his father at age 14 in London England.
Jon Burke, since an early age has shown keen knowledge of music, and interest in being a musician. Burke enjoys playing to small crowds, but recently his fame has grown. Burke is ambidextrous when it comes to musical instruments, recording all instruments on his upcoming album “Stand Up Another Day”.
Jon Burke's life has a dark side however. Since age 10 Jon has battled bipolar disorder and ADHD. His family life unraveled at an early age, deeply troubled, Jon turned to music to express himself. His work often details the horrors of Bipolar disorder. At age 19 Jon started abusing alcohol, and by age 21 was abusing substances daily. This dark period is chronicled by the upcoming album “Stand Up Another Day”. In the spring of year 28, Jon went through the Neurotransmitter Restoration Center at UCLA Medical Center. He has been clean of all drugs.
