Destiny Ophelia John

Destiny is the queen of the world. Yep, that's right Edith Hellewell and Pandora Hellewell. Destiny is the queen of the world. She is also fondly referred to as the Walking Pharmacy.

Destiny John appeared in the Popo-Universe officially on 7/18/2006. She is convinced that she is the reincarnation of Ruth Carlisle who appeared in the Popo-Universe on 2/11/2006. What Ruth and Destiny were doing before they appeared nobody is quite sure.

Destiny was born on Day 7 of Year 6 to Antony John and Sarah Ann Harlow-Vance in Los Angeles. She had one older brother named Ricky Vance on her mother's side but she didn't know that for several years. He was almost exactly a year older than her having been born on Day 11 of Year 5. Sarah delivered Ricky to James Bryce Vance. James was called away to military service overseas and was away for almost two years.

During that time Sarah met Destiny's father near the skating rink at the Rockefeller Center. She fell in love with him on sight, after all Antony was great-looking and passed the great looks onto his daughter, and agreed to go to dinner with him. Sarah was still in love with James but she was scared that he would never come home. The thought of James not making it home overcame her and she continued to see Antony.

She was soon pregnant with her second child. A sibling, a sister to Ricky. A girl that would be named Destiny Ophelia John. Destiny was what brought Antony and Sarah together. It was love at first sight. Ophelia was the name of Antony's deceased sister. And Sarah was old-fashioned in thinking that children should always have their father's last name.

Antony and Sarah were very good at keeping their relationship a secret and when Sarah received word that James was returning home they were able to part ways with nobody the wiser. Except, of course, the fact that Sarah had a daughter that nobody had known about. When Destiny was three years old, Antony had a heart attack that kept him in bed the majority of the time. Antony hired a full-time nurse to watch over him and a full-time nanny for Destiny. A year later, Antony passed away in his sleep. Sarah fought long and hard for custody of Destiny. Even though she was Destiny's mother, it had been Antony's last wish that Destiny was raised by his brother, Brandon John. Antony despised the thought of Destiny being raised by Sarah's husband.

This custody battle went on for two years, Destiny being kept in a shelter for that time. She blamed her father for dying and leaving her in limbo like this. She vowed that she would never raise her child like this. She would choose trustworthy fathers who loved her and who she would stay with forever. She vowed that she would raise her children with their father. At six years old, Destiny was forced to grow up fast.

Finally, custody was settled and Destiny was sent to live with Sarah, her husband, and their son, Ricky. Her and Ricky quickly became best friends but Destiny always felt slightly out of place. She was slightly ill-mannered and had a tendency to speak her mind no matter the consequences. That habit followed her through adult years. But Destiny did love to record things. Her mother bought her a video camera when she was twelve and Destiny never put it down. She wanted to be a famous video director.

When Destiny was 18 she applied for N.Y.U. to study film. She waited with bated breath for months before finally accepting the fact that she wasn't accepted. Destiny mourned for about a week before throwing her video camera out the upstairs window of her apartment and stomping on it a few times. She never again tried to make it into college. She didn't want to. She had wanted to study film and it was their loss for not accepting Her Royal Highness.

Instead of recording, Destiny took to surfing the internet. Most of the time with a soft drink in hand. Her favorite soft drink was Dr. Pepper but she would settle for anything as long as it had lots of caffeine. Destiny especially liked listening to music online. She had tons of bands that she favored and was determined to marry Alvarado Gutierrez when she was 17 and he was 21. But that's going to be mentioned later in the story.

Destiny despises the idea of a current job. She instead thinks that people shouldn't be constricted by evil bosses and what-not. She tried a job as a CEO for a while. Working at clubs, restaurants, and shops. But finally she was forced to admit that even a job like a CEO just wasn't for her; too much paperwork. So she took a job as a Special Agent and flies around the world chasing bad guys. At the end of the day she decided that a job just wasn't for her and instead sits behind a desk as a CEO. Destiny is currently trying to give up smoking again after quitting about a dozen times before.

Destiny is the mother of four and, at the age of 26, had snuggled over 500 times. Most of those were with her 3 long-term boyfriends. Ryan Bond, Tijn den Breems, and Alvarado Gutierrez. Although she has had her fair share of snuggles with Michael Maynard as well.

Grace Williams is Destiny's oldest child. When Destiny was 16 she moved out of her mother's apartment and started taking on odd and unofficial jobs. When she was 18 she was living on the streets with nowhere to go. Nobody to turn to. So, she decided to use her assets. Kurtis Williams was her way out. He was offering $50,000 for a woman to have his child. Although Destiny didn't want to have kids she decided that if she wouldn't have control of the child it would be okay.

Kurtis was often 'out of it' but Destiny kept trying to get pregnant. Finally she suceeded. Only it was too late. Three days before Destiny discovered she was pregnant Kurtis told her that he didn't want a child. That he wouldn't be a good enough father. Destiny was heartbroken. She had wanted their relationship to last, for their child. But she would love her child anyway, that was what mother's were supposed to do.

It was on a travel route from London to New York that Destiny met her next love. After Destiny's friend Beth Pryor was sure that Destiny and Kurtis were no more she set her up with Ryan Bond. Destiny spent long hours on the phone with Ryan. She knew that she was in love for the first time in her life. Grace was delivered on Day 24 of Year 25 in Melbourne and Ryan was there. That was when Destiny knew she wanted to spend forever with Ryan. Of course, forever isn't always that long.

It wasn't long after that, that Destiny was pregnant again. She conceived Ryan's child on Day 53 of Year 25. 29 days after Grace was born. It was Destiny's hardest pregnancy. She was depressed all the time and wasn't herself at all. She had just learned how to steal and, during a little mood swing, she stole somebody's door key. Of course, she gave it right back but nobody cared. She was sentenced to five days in jail and delivered her second child, Ginger Bond, on Day 39 of Year 26 in the Glasgow Jail.

The family was a happy one with Grace regarding Ryan as her real father. Destiny had sent Grace and her nanny to visit Kurtis but Grace was happier with her mother, Ryan, and her baby sister. But Destiny and Ryan weren't content; they wanted more kids. Apparently, however, Ryan wanted to take their relationship even farther because he proposed to Destiny on Day 46 of Year 26.

Destiny and Ryan's next child was conceived on Day 55 of Year 26, nine days after Ryan proposed to her. Nobody but Destiny and her best friend, Rosanna Cruz, really know why but on Day 25 of Year 27 Destiny broke off the engagement. Destiny would never admit it but she was heard talking to her friends and saying he didn't 'love' her enough. She wanted somebody to take her out on dates and make her really happy.

They remained good friends though and even toured together after they broke off the engagement. Destiny was even thinking of ways to tell Ryan that she wanted to be engaged again. But on Day 34 of Year 27 Ryan was struck by a stray bolt of lightning. Destiny was heavily pregnant and was sure something was going to happen to the baby. Ginger and Grace didn't know what was happening. They thought Ryan had been struck by a rainbow or something.

Destiny was distraught. She had lost two men, Grace had lost two fathers. And she had lost them both. She hadn't seen Kurtis since Grace was conceived and the only time Grace had seen him was when Destiny bought her a plane ticket to go see him. Kurtis never asked about Grace or included her in anything so Destiny often disregarded him.

Leonardo John was delivered on Ginger's first birthday, Day 40 of Year 27, Saint Kobe's Day. Destiny was happy to have a boy and the girls adored him. The only downside of their family was that Ryan wasn't around but Destiny loved Leo so much that it didn't matter all that much. She felt that Leonardo was a part of Ryan that she would always have.

It was a long, long time before Destiny really fell in love again. She went through boyfriends, supposedly serious ones. Destiny met Tijn den Breems during a revolution in Brussels sometime around Day 9 of Year 28. They started out as just friends but the relationship blossomed into something more. In a statement to the press after their break-up Destiny said that 'All we had was sex!' and 'He never really loved my kids.' Her cousin, Karen Lenise, stated 'He just wanted Destiny because she was a sexpot when she was young. I know. I've seen pictures.'

But that's another story. Destiny really wanted another child so she practically begged Tijn to have a baby. Although he didn't want a child he agreed. So, on Day 27 Destiny was pregnant again. This time was supposed to be something glorious. Destiny was ectastic and this was supposed to be it. Yeah, right. Destiny later reported, 'Tijn wasn't half as mature as me even though he was a year older than me… He hadn't been on the quest for stardom and I wanted somebody just as famous as me… If not more so.'

They had reached the breaking point at the end of Destiny's pregnancy. Karen reported, 'I remember some of the things Tijn said to her. When Dezzy started her tribe she was so happy. She was calling it Tribe of Destiny and wanted everybody to join. Tijn just said that it was a stupid name and he didn't want to join. She was so unhappy.' They were pretty much broken up when Destiny delivered Julietta den Breems on Day 12 of Year 29.

Destiny took great pains to dress her up very pretty. Destiny loved her even though she was broken up with Tijn. But, Destiny had promised to hand over custody to Tijn and Tijn scheduled a flight to London in the morning. Karen stated, 'He called her a slut and took off with Julie.' Destiny vowed then to get custody back but at press time Julietta is still in Tijn's control.

Destiny still wanted more kids, though. Just because she hated all guys didn't mean that she didn't love her kids and want more of them. That's how Destiny met Alvarado. He was a single father with one daughter, Gisele Gutierrez, who was a year old at the time. Alvarado wanted more children and so they came together. They were determined to have only one night together. But the one night evolved to more and more nights together. And so Destiny was pregnant and had another boyfriend.

But Alvarado was destined to be the one Destiny was with for the rest of her life. Destiny got pregnant and her and Alvarado couldn't be happier. About that time the often depressed, Laís Ramalho Custodio, got pregnant as well. Destiny tried to convince her not to but only a day after Laís gave birth to a son she said she would commit suicide. Destiny adopted the baby boy and named him Oliver 'Pike' John.

While together Alvarado and Destiny had one son, José Julio John and got married.

Destiny has had dozens of jobs since moving out of her mother's house. Her very first job was as a cleaner at Jeremy's Cheap Equipement. She quit that job a week later and started working as a CEO at ShopStop [London] which has now been abandoned. Destiny only lasted at that shop for two days before quitting and getting a job as a CEO at the record studio Rock Studio London (HIG). Thirteen days later Destiny quit her job yet again and took another job as a CEO at The Gothic Sun [ELEC], a club in Madrid. She was quickly becoming every boss' worst nightmare.

Destiny was only at The Gothic Sun for eight days before quitting and heading on to the club Punk Moms' Club [SP]. Destiny didn't even last a day in that job and quit to become a CEO in the club Destini's RnB Zone *RIO*. She lasted there a while by her standards. Long enough that this author doesn't want to count the days. She next took a job at the Power Plant in Melbourne. She stayed there for a while as well before getting a job at the club Ritmo e Azuis R&B. Destiny didn't even quit that job but was fired when she was in jail.

Her next job was a CEO for the store Lex Cream Mall [MEX]. Another while as a CEO before quitting to work at Michele's Pop Playground for her good friend, Megan Malins. It was while she was in labor with her fourth child that she transferred as a CEO to a restaurant also run by Megan. The Penguin Cafe [Hel] was the next to be CEOed by Destiny. And Destiny's current job is as a Special Agent for London. She hopes to have that job for a while.

Destiny was in the band Prom Royalty when her mother first told her to be in a band. It changed it's name about a million times. It was also called Roses have Thorns.

She then went into the band That Obsession which had half a dozen different members. But it sucked and so she left that one to Marjorie Terres.

Now Destiny is a solo artist in the band Twenty-Something Love. She may someday actually work on her career but now she's too busy.

Destiny goes by the name of ♥ Mrs. Pleasure ♥ when she performs.

Unfortanutely, every great career and queen must come to an end. And so we regretably say that Destiny John, mother of six, died on Day 33 of Year 32. The details are hazy with nobody close to her saying anything. Some reports state that she overdosed on drugs, some say that she slit her wrists. Others say that she was pregnant and died during a miscarriage. Whatever it was; she will be missed.
