Dana never went to school but received daily teachings by her mother. She likes going to clubs and having a good time. She dislikes stale air and staying indoors. Dana fondly remembers the days when she had a little puppy dog. Dana is a permanent resident and citizen of Toronto.

It is well known in the Popo world that Dana prefers monogamous relationships. She has been romantically linked to many men however the two most noteable relationships are her long-term relationship and high profile break up from Robbie Donnelly and short marriage to Dr. Jasper Adams.

Dana has two daughters with Maurice McInnes: Valerie McInnes and Ella Isaak. She has also has two daughters and one son with Robbie Donnelly: Robyn Donnelly, Hannah Donnelly and Isaac Donnelly. During her relationship with Robbie she adopted his daughter, Tania, from another relationship.

After the death of Melvin, the citizens of Popomundo began searching for a new mayor. Dana Isaak entered the mayoral race and quickly emerged as one of the candidates to beat. The first round of voting found Dana ahead of Ricky Ardill, however she did not have the percentage of votes required to take the title in the first round and so a second round of voting was called. Dana was declared the first Mayor of Toronto after the death of Melvin.

While in office, Dana found herself needing to clean up the mess left behind by Melvin, however managed to make several new improvements in Toronto. Healthcare improved and Toronto's first CoP was appointed by Dana. Crime rates dropped as criminals were no longer welcome on Toronto's streets.

Unfortunately, Dana's role as Mayor was cut short when she surprised everyone with the announcement that she would need to step down for personal reasons and it would conflict with her role as Toronto's Mayor. Putting her citizens first, Dana Isaak decided it would be in Toronto's best interest for her to resign until such time that other duties would permit her to fully devote her time to the city. She was succeeded by Robbie Donnelly, prior to beginning their relationship.

Again, Dana felt the call to serve her city and ran in the next election against Flip Boddie and won by 62%. She remained in office for the full four years of her term. She decided to attempt to win an addition four years in office and had a landslide victory of 81.7%. After 8 back to back years in office Dana decided not to run in the next election and was succeeded by Roberta Stanley who appointed Dana as her Vice Mayor. Due to fighting within the Toronto community, Dana decided to sacrifice her career in an attempt to encourage change while Roberta Stanley stepped down as Mayor. This was met with criticism from the public and Dana calmly fielded questions regarding her decision. Due to a lack of eligible candidates, Dana offered to run again for office until other candidates were available and she would pass on knowledge that she had regarding being in office. This was initially met with resistance, however, she ultimately won the hearts and votes of the community once again and won the election with 79.2% of the vote. Dana has announced that she will be retiring from politics after serving one year in office.

Dana Isaak uncovered a box in the back of her mother's closet. Her mother was passed out on the couch and Dana removed the key worn around her mother's neck to unlock the box. Inside, she discovered several letters addressed from the Royal Family of Popomundo. One such letter was published in Toronto's Edition of It's Pop magazine, issue #134. It read:

“To Madame Beatrice Gladys Margaret Isaak,

As the Queen of Popomundo, I hereby command that you return my granddaughter Dana to her family at the Castle as she must now become familiar with her royal duties as a Princess.

I commend you for the many years you have kept her out of the public eye and protected her from those who wished to do her harm. You will be rewarded for your service.

With much appreciation,

The Queen of Popomundo”

This revealed to Dana that her mother was not her mother at all, but rather a guardian hired by the Popomundo Royal Family. It was later discovered that lover of Dana's guardian was murdered while trying to protect Dana during an assassination attempt.

While on tour, Dana visited with her grandmother, The Queen, in London. Her royal heritage was confirmed during this visit and Dana has been known as Princess Dana during performances ever since. Dana insists that her friends still call her Dana as she finds the formality of the royal title to be awkward.

Dana is the owner of Pink Flamingo, her company. Dana first began in business with “Lagoon Jamming”, a locale that offered high quality jamming at low cost. However the public did not frequent her establishment and so Dana was forced to close it. Later Dana opened “The Rock Garden” in Toronto and “Afterglow” which she has since closed. Pink Flamingo now only supports “Castle Records” a pop recording studio to which Dana's band “DanaI” is signed.
