Daan Pot

Daan Pot is the turntablist and composer on stage known as Kid Terr-r. He's currently playing in Joint Chiefs.

Daan started his career as a turntablist on 2005-06-21. He was accompanied by Jelle Buijing in an electronica duo called Kid Terr-r. For a year they worked industriously, getting their act together, but soon Jelle found out music just wasn't his business and left Daan solo. Daan then took Kid Terr-r as his own stage-name and still goes by that. Daan is used to do and learn everything by himself after being dropped out of school and travelling around the world a lot before turning 16, so being a solo artist in a cruel world of music wasn't problem for him. Daan's parents, who are still happily married, has always been very supportive towards everything Daan has ever decided to do. Right from the beginning of his career Daan worked industriously writing music and learning the necessary skills to make it big. During that time, Daan worked as a bartender at one of Amsterdam's greatest electro-clubs, Melkweg, owned by Charlie Hudson of Te Quieres Creer, a long time succesful musician, who helped young Daan on his way to stardom.

Daan is currently a citizen of Helsinki and has a daughter, Daria Pot, with Masha Bezmyacheva.

Daan founded his own company, Omega Corporation on 2006-04-18 in Helsinki. Omega Corporation mainly just for interesting investments and Daan is not trying to build a huge business imperium. “I'm just a musician with too much time and money on my hands. I will not try to beat the likes of Jessie Malone's of Evil Inc., they're just much better than me.”
