Burt Pearce

His father is a well known business tycoon. Burt planned on going to New York to study film at N.Y.U., but was never accepted. He is a fanatic sportsfan. He hates insects. Burt fondly remembers the days when he had a little puppy dog. —- Burt was born in LA, and had a hard time growing up. His father, rarely at home, took little interest in him. Running away, after saving money doing part time jobs. Burt, at 18 ended up in London where his mother had moved several years earlier. Staying there for awhile, hanging in out at local bars, watching the local shows, Burt realised that music was the answer. That was the calling he'd been looking for, for so long. A first attempt at this was as a solo electronica artist. This though proved to be a short lived venture, and didn't turn out how he'd expected. This was an experimental time, and influenced partly by his CEO job at record company, Burt also realised that his music direction needed to change. So apart from that brief spell as an unknown, unappreciated electronica artist DJ Spaced, the real Burt emerged. Having already met Cindy Denton, the two becoming quite close, it seemed the best ide in the world to join her band. It was not long after that union, that Burt and Cindy were married, and not long after that Dominic their son arrived. With his, everything seemed wonderful. And for a while that worked, and it was a special time. Later though, things changed and, the strain of both band life and on the marriage became to much. Cindy left the band, and in an impulsive moment Burt follwed. It was then that Cindy rejoined the band she had formed, but there was no place back for Burt. By this time the marriage was in trouble, and Burt began contemplating a different type of career. Then there was Dominic to consider. At that time Burt was not really the good father he could have been. But that later changed so much. At that time though, being without a band, Burt then turned to the media, but on the other side. A brief spell taking celeberity pictures was a passing phase, rather than a career. So again it didn't last for too long. Then after a while in what he describes as the winter of wilderness, that the musical passion that was always there came through. Recent events seemed to have dulled that, dimmed that fire. But then, it was like a fuse had been lit, and something started to burn so hot with life, and Out of the Ashes a new band was born.

It seems after this re-birth of creative talent, that Burt and Cindy, eventually tried to work things out, and about a year later got married for a second time. And this time, things seemed to work out a lot better. Both had grown older, and probably a bit wiser, and it lasted for quite some time.

Working on a joint tour with Denton now re-named Wolfsbane it was a happy time. Both bands enjoying a good success, and complemented each other quite well.
