Brian Blake started playing the drums since was a kid and his dream was to become a professional musician and share his passion and outrageous talent. Brian started his musical career through the big door, he made his musical debut as drummer with famous rock band The Thieves, working with very talented musicians as Paul Deluca, Adrian Bourgeois, Carlton Alaniz, John Ainsbury and Joe McGuigan. After the success achieved with The Thieves, with millionaire record sales and lots of won competitions, Blake decided to follow his true routes and move to Punk-Rock on a NY-based solo act called The Meaning In Makeup. He was replaced by female drummer Cathy Trudgian He started touring the World and released a record named Revenge Is A Dish Best Served By Me, which had a good response from the fans. This led him to recruit more people for The Meaning In Makeup and 4 talented musicians joined: Ramon ten Berg on the electric guitar and backup vocals, Sherman Ivey on the bass, Jeffrey Jung as electric guitarist and Caitling Macon on the vocals and occasionally on the acoustic guitar. After some time, everything seemed to be falling apart and there were some internal problems so Jeffrey Jung decided to leave the band and Caitlin Macon left due to a band fact. Fans didn't have to wait much to see the new line-up because drummer's Brian Blake skilled guitarist and lead singer Thomas Banks (Ex-Penny Lane) joined the band along with guitarist Gavin Birmingham from Espionage. The band will release a record in the following months and will kick off a World Tour with their friends from The Thieves the 20th of August of 2006.
