Moscow

The city which lays most to the east in Europe, and has one of the slowest growth rates in the entire world. It's smale size make it not very attractive for company owners, but the government tries it's best to improve this situation by privatizing different kind of locales. Still, Moscow is beloved by it's inhabitants who wouldn't want to live without the city of snow.

Some of the world's most popular bands come from Moscow. Rise Against In Plain View is one of the biggest Punk bands in the world and is seen as the biggest band from Moscow. Epidemics is Moscow's leading Heavy Metal group and 2 of it's members are also very active on the political front in Moscow. Ivan Cruach, formerly known as Ivan Steel, has changed it's genre from Heavy Metal to Punk, but remains one of the best bands in Moscow. Come As You Are isn't the biggest in Moscow, but because of the Moscow background from the band, it is mentioned here.

At the first official elections in Moscow (and the whole Popomundo world), Afanasy Volkov won bigtime over other candidates Edward Gerrits and Vladislav Kubrikov, who won respectively 2 and 1 votes. At that time, it was the only election where the outcome was allready clear in the first round, and because of this, Afanasy Volkov became the first mayor of Popomundo ever.

Russian and Moscow Popomundo is expanding both in the geographic and linguistic departments.

Thanks to Olena Ragnlind the game is now playable in Russian. To celebrate this we've added Moscow to the Popomundo map. Rumour has it a statue will soon be erected in Olena's memory on the Red Square.

Melvin Stjärnblom who's not late to join the russian band wagon announced earlier today that the next festival therefore will take place in Gorky Park! The festival dates will be set shortly after the Slime Light Beta Bash competition.
