Mexico City is the first latin city in North America and was raised with several challenges to be faced, and fear of corruption and other issues.
However, with the election of Mayor Rogério Hernández Munhoz, a brazilian born guy, son of a mexican father, things started to roll out smoothly on the city, with a fast development of locales texts and images, employement, fair taxes, etc. If you want to know more on how the politics are over there, visit the Forum.
VI Popomundo Festival was be held in Mexico City by April 2007, a good opportunity for the city to show itself to the biggest bands in the whole Popomundo. The Festival was overshadowed by an arson attack on the power plant, but a little hamster in its wheel kept it going, so the concerts of the festival could be held without problems.
