Understanding date stamps… The date stamps that I use in this timeline are pretty straight forward but I will explain them just in case. The first number indicates the popo-year. The second number indicates the day of the year. There are 56 days in each popo-year. In the case that the specific day or year are unknown an XX is inserted in place of the number. Any help that you can offer in detailing this timeline is apprieciated.

(2003-01-01 – 2003-02-25)

• 01/01: First Song: ”It Ain't Easy Being Green” by Jonas Holtenerberg.

(2004-05-19 – 2004-07-13)

• 10/29: Melbourne appears on the map.

• 10/55 - 11/5: the First Popomundo Festival is held in New York. National Theatre wins.

• xx/xx: The nuking of Nashville

(2004-11-03 – 2004-12-28)

• 13/13 - 13/17: Popomundo Festival II is held in London and won by Kissing Slits.

• 13/36: Toronto appears on the map.

(2005-02-23 – 2005-04-19)

• 15/36: Barcelona and Buenos Aires added.

• 15/38: Baby Tai is born (later named Brian Tai).

• 15/43: Popogeddon.

• 17/48 - 17/54: Popomundo Festival III is held in Moscow and won by The Knights Who Say Ni!.

• 19/22: Population exceeds 10,000.

• 19/54: The day Popo stood still.

• 19/XX: Popmundians begin to 'visit the Land of the Dead'.

• 20/01: Berlin added.

• 20/34: The Knights who say Ni! disband.

(2006-01-25 – 2006-03-21)

• 20/55- 21/5: Popomundo Festival IV is held in Barcelona and won by One Way Trip.

• 21/22: São Paulo added.

• 21/XX: Hayden Kraft died due to ingesting voodoo powder.

• 21/55: Popomundo Liberation Day: Benevolant Grand Pooh-Bah Melvin Stjärnblom killed by an angry mob at the London Riots, the first successful revolution.

• 21/56: Grand Mayoral Race starts up.

(2006-03-22 – 2006-05-16)

• 22/11: Michael Hopper died due to ingesting voodoo powder.

• 22/14: Afanasy Volkov becomes the first elected mayor of Moscow. In all other cities the elections go into a second round.

• 22/20: All cities now have mayors.

• 22/27: Travis Kauser commits suicide by poison at a date with Edith Hellewell in De Beer Garden in London

• 22/29: Copenhagen added.

• 22/45: Rome added.

(2006-05-17 – 2006-07-11)

• 23/35: Revolution in Copenhagen. Conrad Gardener is not the mayor of Copenhagen anymore.

• 23/40: Revolution in Rome. Conrad Gardener has to step down as mayor.

(2006-07-12 – 2006-09-05)

• 24/11: Revolution in São Paulo. Ana Salomão Spricigo has to step down as mayor.

• 24/24: Madrid added

• 24/27: Rio de Janeiro added

• 24/30: The Norwegian translation was finished, only 6 days after it was started.

• 25/3- 25/10: Popomundo Festival V is held in Los Angeles and won by Disillusion.

• 25/20: It becomes possible to build Research Center.

• 34/15: Warsaw appears.

(2008-03-19 – 2008-05-13)

• 35/1: Manuel Masson, a famous criminal that stole several DEV items, steals a comfy cushion out of Mika Grenhall's apartment and tortures Michael Maynard the mayor of London with it. (ThreadID=382768.1)

• 35/28: The dead rise in Toronto again to attack even more people! But the brave zombie hunters, especially Ubaldo Raffaelli protect the people.

• 35/34: Jamie Sagrera is elected Chief Justice of London with 70.3% of the votes.

• 35/36: National Treasures start to pop up allover the world.

• 35/39: Mayor Joost Huijsmans passes a law limited to 36h in Amsterdam as reaction to a crime competition hitting the city on 35/40. The city gets locked, so noone gets out and Special Agents are allowed to break and enter into apartments to arrest criminals. An international uproar follows. (2008-05-14 – 2008-07-08)

• 36/24: Revolution in Belgrade after Mayor Johnny Dogana bans common items. (call for revolution in thread 496703.1)

• 36/28: The dead rise in Shanghai to attack even more people! But the brave zombie hunters, especially Guy Plaza protect the people.

• 36/34: Sarajevo appears on the map as the 38th city.

• 36/39: Thanks to the new election rules and low citizenbase in Belgrade not many candidates can step up for the elections – notorious criminal Brígida Freijedo becomes mayor, appoints Gabriel Guijarro as CoP, who's also a member of the (not) criminal tribe Armadietto della Società di Famiglia. Johnny Dogana is elected CJ. Warrants for many criminals in Belgrade are cleared. Belgrade becomes a “criminal heaven” and a big international uproar follows (call for revolution in thread 496703.1, continuing in 547302.1).

• 36/52: Revolution in Belgrade, after CJ Johnny Dogana gets arrested for vandalism one day before the big revolution was supposed to start. Brígida Freijedo is able to appoint herself as treasurer, before getting kicked out of office, but doesn't do much to maintain the city buildings, also because most of the city money was moved into the police station to fund action against revolutionaries. Chaos in the city follows with arson attacks on city buildings, etc.

(2008-07-09 – 2008-09-02)

• 37/18: The second round of mayor elections in Belgrade ends with Goran Trbović as mayor. David Faust became CJ, being the only candidate one week earlier.Brígida Freijedo closes down the travel routes and airport, before Goran can appoint a new treasurer. Another revolution follows and the chaos goes on. Arsonists continue attacks on city buildings and blackmail club owners.

• 37/28: The dead rise in Helsinki to hunt for people's brains. But the brave zombie hunters, especially Laura Turčinavičiūtė, protect the people.

• 37/31: “Hamstergeddon” - Many many pets (especially hamsters, guinea pigs and canary birds) die mysteriously.

• 37/43: Goran Trbović wins the second round of mayor elections in Belgrade (Kenny Snape became CJ a week before). The rebuilding of Belgrade starts with donations from the (international) community.

• 37/44: Seattle appears on the map.

(2008-09-03 – 2008-10-28

• 38/28 : The dead rise in Budapest to hunt for people's brains. But the brave zombie hunters, especially Riccardo Neri, protect the people.

• 38/32: In Warsaw, Vice Mayor and Treasurer Fernando Azabache accidentally triggers a revolution by closing and opening again important city services (see Developer News 2008-06-19 Attention Politicians for reference). Chief of Police Annie McBryde is killed by an angry mob in the process.

• 38/33: St. Kobe revives Annie McBryde.
