Catalyst Enterprises
Catalyst Enterprises is an American Music Corporation, primarily operating in the Recording and Retail Industry. The company was founded in the year 18 and initially operated a number of clubs in the Los Angeles and Barcelona, London and Amsterdam areas. Following the initial success of these ventures, the company founded Catalyst Records, and independent label aimed at Modern Rock and Rock musicians.
Though the independent Record Label still exists today, the company has undergone significant change in recent years and remodeled its business plan accordingly.
Change
In 24, significant change began to occur in the Club industry as more and more competition flooded the market. Catalyst Enterprises sold its clubs in Los Angeles, Amsterdam and Barcelona to focus on expanding its global retail empire. CE Sold its London club three years later.
The Retail Shift
Catalyst Enterprises opened shops in New York, Toronto, London and Los Angeles which it still operates today under various brands. Other ventures into the retail industry in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Sao Paulo and Tromso all were eventaully shut down or sold, such as the Barcelona-based “ESTILICE & MODA” which was sold to Holmes Brands Inc after 8 years of operation and subsequently shut down after failing to meet expectations.
Despite its sell off of a number of retail assets, the company has ensured high distribution numbers for its record label through a retail-distribution agreement with Holmes Brands Inc and a number of other retailers.
Holmes Assets
Recently, the company has seen a growing number of assets operating under the “Holmes” Trademark. All of these locales use the Holmes TM under lease from Holmes Brands Inc though the company has expressed an interest in distancing itself from this brand in the coming years.
Hotels
CE recently opened the doors to its world=class Holmes Resort in Mexico City. Following its success the company has acquired a number of assets in the Mexico City Region and incorporated them into the Hotel design. These include the Heavy-Metal club LEAD, and its patent-pending weight loss system that operates inside the Gym Complex.
Company President Dean Holmes has express interest in expanding the company's operations in South America.
