Founded in Toronto, Canada on 2008-05-10, Aurora Borealis Corporation (ABC Corporation) started to provide further hospitatlity services to Where Eagles Dare Enterprises' hotels. They opened a pub, Citadel Pubs, which was connected to the Citadel Hotels Toronto (Yorkville).
The company would experiment a little, operating a lawyer's office for a short period of time as well.
After Neil Solomon's passing, Danny Harris took over control of the company. They dabled in a jam club, Solomon Grundy's Jam. This was eventually closed. Eventually, Danny Harris used ABC Corporation to purchase a recording studio in Toronto called Castle Records, which was owned by his wife, Dana Isaak. The company sat idle for many months before operations at the location and rebranding took place. Castle Records became Sanctuary Music on 2009-08-05.
