Originally Pontus Wästerbrant was a member too, but he was fired by the band following a long spell of inactivity. Virginia Lopes was also a member for quite some time, but was fired right before the Popomundo Festival V after a long spell of problems caused by inactivity. Shortly thereafter they were joined by Des Swink's fellow ex-kniggit Steven Clark. Later in the band's career they were joined by Kristen Farley and Ricky Wells, before finally breaking up in July 2007.
Ze Evil Gnömes formed in the aftermath of the break-up of The Knights who Say Ni! when Des Swink asked his friend Niklas Gustavsson if he was intested in trying to get a super group together. Suitable members for clearly defined roles were scouted and the result was today's line-up. The band aims for the top but whether they will succeed at that remains to be seen.
Performed at Live Aid III (third place)in Stockholm.
11th place at Popomundo Festival V.
