History
The band was formed by electric guitarist/dancer Harmen van Hees who was soon joined by lead singer/dancer Iemke Groenewoud. Although the band is not widely known, it has a fanbase in most countries in the world and is currently ranked as the #128 Modern Rock band.
Selfish Shellfish are currently signed to Tomblands Records. Their first single, called “More details”, sold decently and allowed the band to buy their first vehicle, a Motorhome. Selfish Shellfish's second single “Does this gun make me look fat?” has been a great success for the band, with over 110,000 sold copies in just three weeks.
