Second Generation Blues was formed on Mellie's 16th Birthday on 22 July 2010.

Originally the band was to be a duet between Melodi and her long time boyfriend, Malaki Maynard. However, it became a solo band after Malaki's unfortunately passed away.

Mellie & Malaki began a World Tour in Year 51, but had to cancel many shows as Mellie was too heartbroken to continue the tour. Mellie attempted to pick up touring again in Year 52, but has announced she would quit touring for a while to spend time with her new love, Jack and newborn son, Mălin.

Jack Cornell joined Second Generation Blues, in Year 54. The duo worked hard for two years before announcing a tour in Year 56.

Have yet to perform any competitions.
