History
Once there was a little girl who has called her grandma Renate “Oma Nate” and then decided to call her grandpa “Opa Nate”. Wiebke and Hansruedi needed a name after they joined the game and founded a pop act. The real Opa Nate is besides beeing a grandpa a local entertainer too. And so the funny idea of beeing Opa Nate at popomundo was born.
 | They started to touring all over europe and soon released their first record “the secrets of Opaman”. This first single is about the coexistence of good and bad in all things and includes 2 tracks. “Soup of dolphin-eyes” tells about the bad side of the secret fluid Opaman gets his superpower from. “Hämoriders of hell” is a song about disadvantages of gaining superpower by a secret fluid. |
 | With “bumble-bee songs” they released their second single including the tracks “Marla song” and “3 Chinese with a contrabass”. These songs sound childish and they are. |
