Musiconomy was born when two fairly experienced solo musicians met at Popomundo Festival IV. Justin played there with Chernobyl and Dane with W.A.R.O. After witnessing the great victory of OneWayTrip they decided to bundle powers with two main goals: Beating Michael Hopper and winning Popomundo Festival V. On the 22nd February Justin and Dane finished Chernobyl's last gig and at the after party Musiconomy was built on the ashes of Chernobyl. They locked themselves away in a jam place for a week and on the 1st March the people got to see the very first show of Musiconomy.
So now they were touring the world, building up some fame and playing good music everywhere, but it wasn't really setting of yet. Not until they found a good ol' rocker along the way. On the 22nd March Charley joined the band and he brought something with him, something they needed badly: songs. Things started to roll after that and they never stopped rolling. It didn't take long for them to become #1 most famous globally, achieve their first perfect show on the 10th April and to join the top in Who's Winning on the 19th April. Musiconomy was loose.
This was again confirmed on the 24th April, when one of the band's top moments occurred. In a time when perfect shows were rare the Gorky Park Festival seemed decided with a revolutionary show by Psychedelic Pudding Punks. But this time the Pudding Punk weren't that lucky, because Musiconomy was determined to win this one. They surprised the whole world, including themselves, by playing a mind melting show. Even self-complacent leader of the Pudding Punks Otis Fitzpatrick had to admit he didn't see it coming, which was probably the biggest achievement.
It was around that time that one of the best acts and #1 Modern Rock artist The Perfects decided to split up, leaving the #1 spot for Musiconomy to take. More importantly skill-guru and High Priest of the Popocalypse Joe Pinkney needed a new band and the band didn't have to think twice when Joe asked to join. He joined on the 4th May and with him came a lot experience from The Perfects. It was his idea to find a band to tour with, which resulted in several world tours together with Eye One Two. In the meantime Musiconomy continued to develop, focussing on live performances and fame and not as much interested in record sales.
