Former Members: Lia Hernández Munhoz (dancer, pianist) - DEAD, Marcos Huanay Escobar (bass, backvocals) - DEAD, Annette Aspinwall (bass, backvocals) - DEAD and Tom Thurston (acoustic guitar and vocals) - currently playing at “Three of a Kind”.

Los Miraculosos was formed by three friends gathering on the streets of São Paulo city one day in cold September. Sitting on a bar, drinking several beers at that time, Hernández started calling himself “Miraculoso”, something like “Miracle Man”. He was thinking on creating a band of one man, calling it Hernández Miraculoso, but his friend (and guitar player at that time) Longo convinced him to create a duo with his vocals and drums skills plus Longo's guitar. The drunk Escobar said he would join the band also, but before that happened, the guys had to get him a bass and he learned how to play the instrument. This way, “Los Miraculosos” was formed! The band decided to start as a Rock project, but soon enough followed their roots and started rehearsing Latin Music style…

Some time later, Hernández found his half-sister Lia Hernández Munhoz, that he has not seen for several years, walking naked around the streets. As he was not drinking anymore, helped the girl to get together and figured out she had been a stripping-dancer in some bars for a while. This way, he invited her to be a dancer in the band (what the other guys just loved!), and Longo also learned how to dance to perform together with her.

Lia joined Los Miraculosos for a while, but then some problems started between the band members: the three males were willing to become Lia's baby father (yes, including her half-brother). Too much sex later, a baby was on the way, but turned out that the father was none of them. After that, Lia left the band and started wandering around the world. At that time, we believed she lost her mind, once she was running the world with a small Modern Rock band, called Pride of Place.

Sadly, when Los Miraculosos finally left the 9th position on the world ranking after a looooong time, becoming the 8th best latin band in the world, Marcos Huanay Escobar was found dead in a park at Copenhaguen. He was teaching some Yoga movements to a few students when a thunder storm fell over him. From July 23rd on, he is resting at the cemitery Assistens Kirkegård, in Copenhaguen. May the DEVs save his soul!

Mark that date: August 10th, 2007. For Los Miraculosos, that's when the New 31st Year started! Recovered from Escobar's death, and hoping he does not come back as a Zombie, several things happenend to the band: a new recording company (agreement with Torben Aktor, formerly from Aktoratet and now at the reborn Frutos del Jardín), some repertoir changes (including covers of two of the best latin songs ever) and last but not least, our new Bass player: Annette Aspinwall, also known as Annettinha Miraculosa! She is coming from her past as a Axé Music player to make the Salsa sound even more dancing! And also, the gig in Paris marked our most crowded show ever, more than 7,000 people. The new World Tour starts sunday in New York! Lots of tickets sold world-wide to see our new formation, we will not let our beloved fans down!

Later on we got to know a sad but true history: Lia had been possessed by a demon and after getting spanked by the ones in red robes and stuck at the airport on an endless security checking, Lia died. Rest in peace little sister…

And Los Miraculosos walked on, finally reaching the 1st place on the radios in the lovely lion-mermaid city of Singapure, and later on performing our first sold-out concert. And as announced before, Tom Thurston join Los Miraculosos after becoming an expert on Latin Music! His experience on several old bands he was part such as Kong will add a lot to LM and help us on the fame and fortune route…

JUNE NEWS! (16/06/2008)

After Tom's arrival (and his name change to Tom Ribeiro), Annette became each time more jealous and jealous. She started to not show up in rehersals and complain all the time about our new bandmate. Without any other option, Miraculoso and Longo, the leaders of the band, came to an agreement that she had to leave the band, and that's what happened. Thankfully, nowadays their relationship is better, even though she is traveling around the world by herself withou any proper act.

Later on, the performances of Los Miraculosos kept on improving, and after some discussion with the guys from Inimigos do Ritmo, currently Popomundo's best band in the world, they started to sell a lot more Singles and Full Albums. With that in mind, and making the best concerts in Latin Music, the leadership was a matter of time…

And the time finally came on June 12nd! Los Miraculosos had take the 2nd place on the week before (June 6th), placing Latina Turco in 3rd and with Latino Caderas in 1st place! After that, Latina Turco took back the 1st place and Los Miraculosos came back to the eternal 3rd place. BUT, but, but… Without any notice, on June 12nd, Mete from Latina Turco was hitten by a lighting (what a loss!), and the ranks updated… And as happened in the previous week, Los Miraculosos was in front of Latino Caderas once more… So, with that…

THE DREAM CAME TRUE: LOS MIRACULOSOS IS NOW THE BEST LATIN MUSIC ARTIST IN THE WORLD!!!

Words of congratulations come from all accross the world, mainly from the brazilian friends and the Latin Music artists that do deserve respect and have a nice friendship with Miraculoso. Now, the challenge is too keep that position. Let's see how long it lasts… Until now, 3 days have passed… :)

JUNE NEWS! II (25/06/2008)

Today, we got our best selling ever: 1,500,000 copies of “BOCA DE C# É ROLA!” sold around the world, sold out in all the stores. What an achievement for us! However, after our Glasgow concert, on the tour bus going back to London, Tom let us know all his feelings and agony that was inside him due to personal matters, and as soon as we arrive he will be giving his farewell to us. We will miss you my friend, a lot. Thanks for getting to the top with us, I believe that without you this would not be possible. To make that day even more disturbed, we got the news that Annetinha died today, alone, at age of 32, back in Nashville. May the DEVs protect your soul, honey!

JULY NEWS! (25/07/2008)

About 1 month and a half later, we are still number 1 in the world! Even after Tom leaving the band, we could resist and keep the 1st position, even though it has been very hard to compose / skill only with two members. We have a bright future plan, however we might go down soon to go up again! Honestly, I did not think we would last 1 month in the 1st position with Latino Caderas and SeduSamba pressuring us, but there we are… :)

AUGUST NEWS! (28/08/2008)

Time runs fast and when we realize it, lots of things happened… We joined the first Latin Tour BR as the top brazilian act. After some concerts, our friends from SeduSamba passed us, and we became 3rd worldwide. Today, after winning some nice competitions against them and other friends, we become once more the number 1 latin act in the world. As I said before, I am pretty sure this will be temporarily (I loooove hype!), however, it shows that we are not dead, and a bright future might be coming… And keep waiting for our new 3rd member my friends! ;)

SEPTEMBER NEWS! (17/09/2008)

We are back at the 2nd spot now for a new competition coming from Pop Genre, “Solitarios”. What may this act want here in Latin Music? Not sure, but anyway, congrats on becoming number 1. Our next bets are no doubt for SeduSamba and La Rubiroja, both friends and amazing acts! Good luck for them! As for us, after more than 60 days on the top of the ranking (adding both times), we shall stop right after the I Latin Tour BR to give out some classes, that's more than time for it. We just sent out also “Intermission II” to our LATIN MIRACLES! STUDIOS, to release next week with just 1 million copies, like a collectors item. This is a Single to fulfill our fans expectations, but not ours - not as good as always, made fast for the moment. After classes, lots of news will be coming on Los Miraculosos life, and our fans will be very happy, for sure! ;)

• November 2006: Nominated as one of the “revelation bands” during the month.

• February 2007: TOP 2 in the World Radios with the song “Soltaram um Gás”; Best Ever latin music videoclip with the same song above; TOP 5 band of the world!

• August 2007: 1st Place on the Brazilian Latin Music Ranking!

• September 2007: TOP 3 band of the world; Perfomed the best concert ever, rated level 17!

• October 2007: 1st concert sold-out, to more than 10,000 people; TOP 1 in the World Radios with the song “Escobar está com Deus…”.

• November 2007: Released our best single ever, “Segredos”, with review level 20 (4 stars)!

• December 2007: More than 3,000,000 singles copies sold all over the world during our career; First place in all the radios in the world with the song “Ahora soy un musico puerra!!!”; First ever “level 18” concert performed Dec. 20th in Moscow; First ever “level 19” concert performed in December 29th, at Latin Miracles! @ Stockholm, our first HOUSE!

• January ~ May 2008: Several things happened, but unfortunatelly we were so busy that could not write all that down. We got 1st place in about 3 Carnaval Latino competitions, 2nd place in the official Carnaval Latino Live-Aid (losing for the ranking's leader at the time), we launched new Singles selling a lot - I mean, a lot - and placing songs like “Miraculoso Algemado” and “O som do imigrante ilegal” in 1st place of the world's radio for a while - also reaching the “all genres parade”… Life has been busy. And in June, yes, June had so many great news for us! :)

• June 2008: On the brazilian's valentine's day, June 12nd, LOS MIRACULOSOS became THE 1ST LATIN MUSIC ARTIST IN THE WORLD!!! On June's 17th, at the Margit-sziget park, during the multi-genre competition @ II. Budapest Festival, LM plays “level 19” again, with the new concert system rules! On the 25th, Tom leave the band, Annette dies and we sell 1,500,000 copies of “BOCA DE C# É ROLA!” single.

• August 2008: Back on 1st place of latin music ranking worldwide at 28th, after the launch of “PARÓDIA NÃO É PLÁGIO” single, with the radio hits “Em Moscou” (In Moscow) and “Carro Novo” (New Car). On the 30th, in LATIN MIRACLES! @ AMS, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Los Miraculosos performed their first concert LEVEL 21 in front of 10,000 people completely insane. What a concert, it was unforgetable for us! 120 stars that day… Wow! :)
