History
Lee Ewing (later known as El Chupacabra - Lead Vocals) met Desiree Fisher (Later known as Detoxx - Drummer) in Kensington Garden in London. Both of them started a band called “Jumping Gonzales”. Then Christopher Bradwell (Electric Guitar), Gulin Kanarya (Bass), and Andrew Barker (Rapper) also joins the band after all of them met in a local club in London and have a similar passion in music. Lee's childhood friends Brandon Snowdon (Later known as Jumper - Guitarist) and Lawrence Vanderstam (Later known as DJ Dandy Supernova - Turntable Artist) heard that their old buddy started a band. They saw them rehearse and finally decides that they want to take part of it. Soon, the band holds 7 members (5 guys & 2 girls).
The 7 of them starts to play gigs in local clubs in London. Before they perform using their own songs, they usually plays the songs from Flight of the Wingless Pegasus & Pulse Squadron. But after a couple of gigs Christopher Bradwell & Andrew Barker decides to depart from the band to pursue their own music and joins other bands. Around that time Jumping Gonzales starts to play abroad. And when they perform in Stockholm, they met Jean-Stéphane Cognet (Electric Guitarist) who soon to be a member of the group. But after a year Gulin Kanarya is very sick. She went home to Istanbul and never came back to the band. Decision was made, Brandon (who originally plays an acoustic guitar) replacing her as a bass guitarist.
After a few try to break into recording, finally Darkland Records released Jumping Gonzales' first single “House of Anger” in 2009. Their catchy & funky electronic style of music is well-received by the London audience and a few countries in europe. Their experimental music also brings them to make a collaboration with a top class artist such as country diva Cécile Dicker, Don't Mess With Texas' DJ Jacqueline Kelly and a Jazz artist Jordyn Damamme-Gilbert.
After Jean-Stéphane Cognet died, the electric guitarist position was filled by Thomas Seabra, who soon to be replaced by Peter Lancashire. Peter departed from the band after they released their 5th album R.I.P : Rest In Paradise.

Lee's favorite singer is Cécile Dicker.
Brandon, Lawrence and Lee grew up in the same neighborhood in Kensington, London.
Jumping Gonzales was appeared in an interview in It's POP New York Issue #304. But only Jean-Stéphane Cognet & Lawrence Vanderstam was there for the interview.
Lee & Desiree was dating for a month in the beginning of Jumping Gonzales.
Brandon, Lawrence and Lee are childhood friends.
Desiree was married to Nordic Wood's Keyboardist Gabriel Alepuz.
Desiree now is married to Nate Hunter (24 years younger than her).

Jean-Stephane about his habit to trash hotel rooms: ”The problem is I don’t like a clean room. I like everything is messy because I will feel more comfortable and like I’m in my own home. So, every time we’re on tour and got to sleep in the hotel, I would like that hotel room messy too. I know a few people would understand me. But certainly not the police.”
