Members: Eva Lundhskär (Singer and Bassist)
One night, early Year 11, Eva Lundhskär awoke from a dream with “We are Dada and you're not!” on her lips. Knowing that this was a sign from her subconscious to get something into gear, she resorted to music, the only thing coming in question for her.
The band is overshadowed by the lazyness of Eva, who only slowly learned her trade in songwriting and stage performance, but nonetheless was and is loved by fans all over the world as she got by with her charming stage shows and vision.
The change came, when Popomundo Festival IV was announced and Eva realized, that she'd have to get her bum up, if she wanted to play a Parc Guell. This payed off, as the critiques came to love the artistic french fries again, but she didn't qualify for the Festival, which was even more encouragment, so now she's one of the best songwriters/performers in Popomundo.
Evas slackerdom also mirrors in the cd output, which is small, considering the 12 year band history. artistic french fries were first signed with HopperSoft Studios London, but after getting little support (especiall showing in the repeatedly miscalculated record ordering) Eva left in frustration and opened her Studio Coma.
The true incarnation of her vision first surfaced, when artistic french fries entered stage not only with a microphone, but also with a bass.
Feeling, that artistic french fries have reached everything creativity wise and that it's time to move on in search for new inspiration after 12 years in this wonderful band, Eva announced the end of artistic french fries on 23/45 at a press conference in Grand Hotel Stockholm and played 6 consecutive farewell shows to the Stockholm crowd on the following day.
