History
A simplified version: girl gets bored with life as she knows it, girl picks up a bass guitar and a microphone, girl draws on the variety of music she's been exposed to in her formative years, girl travels the world gathering a small but devoted cult following, girl pushes herself to her limits and somehow thrives, girl climbs steadily closer to the higher realms of the charts.
The reality was far more complex.
Applechaser was proud to be a part of the F.A.C.K. Tour with top-10 modern rock acts The Funkadelic Freaks and Captain Cork and rising pop star Kali, and also had a friendly chart rivalry of sorts with Inside Green, due to personal ties.
Iskra has just ended Applechaser after growing tired of the solo life. What's next for her is still a matter of speculation.
Achievements
Completed a world tour.
Performed at Live Aid III in Moscow, finishing 17th out of 42 artists.
Competed in the Popomundo Festival V preliminaries in Rome; while nowhere near reaching the top five (or the top two-thirds, for that matter), Applechaser received its highest show rating yet.
