====== Why is Popomundo closed, not working and\or down? ====== //If you know of more downtimes, either announced in the developer news, or unexpected, please, post it following the chronological order. If you add time stamps, add the timezone or keep them at CET for uniformity.// * 2006-11-08 : Unexpected downtime, rumoured to be due to backups (preparing the nov, 13th server change). Also slowness & errors occur. * 2006-11-13 : Downtime announced for nov 13th & 14th, to move the game to new, more powerful servers. Expected downtime is from nov, 13th (09:00am CET) to nov, 14th (23:00 CET), but end time might vary, depending on how the transport goes (can be shorter or longer). * 2006-11-14 : See above. * 2006-11-14, 8:30 PM CET : Popomundo login page returns, but attempting to login simply reloads the page. * 2008-09-01, Noon - 12:30 PM CET: Popmundo was down and I have no idea why or whether it was my fault. Supposedly they were updating the db server. * 2008-09-01, approx. 9:15 PM - 2008-09-02, approx. 00:20 AM CET: Popmundo down again, supposedly more updating of said server is happening right now. Is this showgeddon? * 2008-09-02, 15:30 - Here we go again. My guess is that the devs are now restoring the lost shows that were deleted maliciously. This is a good thing. * 2008-09-17, noon - Popmundo down for "10 minutes". * 2009-01-04, approx. 02:20 AM CET - Popmundo down for "about 10 minutes... if [they] don't break the game that is." * 2009-04-20, approx. 11:55 PM CET - 2009-04-21, approx. 00:45 AM CET - Down! Again! Apparently "emergency database maintenance" is necessary. This cannot be happening! It is Popogeddon all over again, only Popgeddon this time. * 2009-05-05, 14:00 CET - "[They]'ve taken the game offline for some database maintenance. [They]'ll be back within an hour or two." * 2010-02-23, 08:30 - 2010-02-24, 01:30 CET - According to the latest Developer/Community news, [[http://www.popmundo.com|Popmundo]] is going down for a scheduled upgrade of the server hardware.
