====== Gathering Plants ======

There are two forms of plant gathering. Either setting your career mission on Picking flowers and Seeking rare plants. You'll gather different types of plants, depending on which career mission you set yourself to. \\ \\
Plants can be sold to second hand shops or manufactured to produce drugs (see below).

===== Pick Flowers =====
  * If you choose the career mission "Pick Flowers", you'll be taken to the countryside with each updates.
  * If you don't know [[:skills:Basic Botany]], you'll only pick [[:items:flower (pretty)|flowers]]. They can be worn or given to friends through interaction.
  * If you know [[:skills:Basic Botany]], you can pick [[:items:herbs and plants#herbs|herbs]], which then [[:guides:making_drugs_from_herbs|can be turned into]] various drugs, if you know [[:skills:Pharmacology]].


===== Seek rare plants =====
  * Each city got its special rare plants. This means, that you can't gather every plant everywhere! So if you need coffee beans, you need to go to Sao Paulo, Mexico City or Singapore for example.
  * The rare plants are gathered at the countryside. 
  * Go to General Information and click on the Resources link, to see, how many different types of plants you can gather.
  * Set yourself to the career mission "seek rare plants", have a [[:items:knife]] and stay in the countryside until you gathered some plants. Depending on the plant, it can take some time until you find it.
  * To be even able to set the career mission, you need [[:skills:Advanced Botany]].
